Wilmington Food Pantry

THE FOOD PANTRY WILL BE OPEN WITH OUR NORMAL SCHEDULE DURING THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) OUTBREAK.

We have no plans to cease food distribution at this time. We have established operational plans, taking into consideration the safety of our volunteers and clients. We are practicing social distancing and taking precautionary sanitation measures. For the safety of everyone we ask our patrons to please wear a mask.

The Food Pantry is set-up as a “drive-up" to ensure the safest handling of food and distribution to limit physical contact with community members. Recipients picking up food do not need to get out of their vehicle and a volunteer will place your packaged bags of food in your vehicle.

WHAT WE DO

The WCF services a pantry supplying food products on a bimonthly basis to those in need. If you are experiencing food-insecurity and you need help you are welcome. Our shelves are stocked soley by community donations.  As always food items can be dropped in our bins at Market Basket and Lucci's, as drop-off times on Saturdays are limited due to the Coronavirus.

If you are a Wilmington resident in need of assistance please stop by to fill out an application.  Proof of residency (photo ID, pay stub or a current bill) is required. An interview for assistance will be conducted on-site. See below for further information how to register for food assistance.
