In 1945 a group of concerned citizens of Wilmington met to organize a volunteer non-profit organization to help families in the community. This organization became the Wilmington Community Fund, Inc. (WCF).

Our motto, "People helping People" is a simple way of stating what the Wilmington Community Fund is all about.

Thanks to the generosity of people like you, the Wilmington Community Fund has been able to assist those Wilmington residents in need.
